Purpose
The Neurodiversity Network brings together neurodivergent individuals, families, carers, faith communities, community organisations and allies to create welcoming, accessible and inclusive spaces for everyone.
It aims to reduce stigma, remove barriers, improve experiences and outcomes, and encourage open conversations, shared learning and wellbeing.

Children, young people and adults, with or without a diagnosis.
Families and Carers
Parents, carers and family members seeking understanding and support.
Faith Communities
Mosques, faith groups and community spaces working towards inclusion.
Allies
Anyone interested in creating more inclusive communities.
What Is Neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in human brains, cognition, learning, attention, communication and behaviour. It recognises that people think, learn, communicate and experience the world in different ways.
Neurodivergent people may include autistic people, people with ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Tourette syndrome, sensory processing differences, communication differences and other neurological differences.

What the Network Does
Raise Awareness
Provide information, learning opportunities and resources to help communities better understand neurodiversity.
Share Good Practice
Support faith groups and community organisations to make practical adjustments that improve accessibility and inclusion.
Build Connections
Create opportunities for neurodivergent people, families, carers and allies to connect, share experiences and support one another.
Promote Inclusion
Work together to identify barriers and encourage environments that are welcoming to all.
Mark and Award
Committed to Neurodiversity Mark
Applications are welcome from organisations that have made neurodiversity-friendly improvements and want to demonstrate their commitment to more accessible, inclusive spaces.
Community Recognition Award
Nominations are welcome to celebrate individuals, volunteers, professionals and families making a meaningful difference to neurodivergent people and their families.
All applications and nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel.
